RCI Premium Quota

RCI is a high-availability, centralized computing cluster of machines. It provides a suite of services to Rutgers faculty and staff affiliated with the New Brunswick campus. The services it provides are accessible via multiple desktop operating systems, clients, and mobile devices. RCI is a Class 1 service.

Services Provided:

The Office of Information Technology’s (OIT) is committed to provide the following services, including but not limited to:

* Email: SMTP, IMAP/POP, forwarding, vacation, customized filtering, spam filtering, email recovery
* Virtual mail hosting
* Web tools: Webmail, web-based file access, password reset, account maintenance utilities (file restoration, password reset, etc.)
* Shell access: course-related programming environment and licensed software availability
* Web hosting: Personal web pages, departmental websites (virtual hosting)
* File storage and access: back-ups, SAMBA, SFTP
* Database: MySQL

Fees:

$12.50/5GB over 5GB quota (fees begin with upquota from 5GB to 10GB)
